, Inleiding
Per 1 september 2022 ben ik begonnen als leerling aan het duale traject op de cardiologieafdeling in
het Bravis Ziekenhuis te Roosendaal. Op de afdelingen 4A en 4B verblijven voornamelijk zorgvragers
opgenomen met problemen aan het hart, zoals hartfalen, pijn op de borst en hartritmestoornissen.
Ook komen er patiënten van de afdeling Hartbewaking naar de cardiologieafdeling om te revalideren
na een hartinfarct. Op de cardiologieafdeling kunnen zorgvragers aangesloten worden aan de
telemetrie, zo wordt hun hartritme op afstand bewaakt. Ook zorgvragen die moeten revalideren na
een hartoperatie of een dotterbehandeling worden op de cardiologieafdeling verpleegd (Bravis
ziekenhuis, z.d.).
