This paper consists of eight (8) pages.

Instructions
(1) Submit your answers as a single file in PDF. If possible, please type your answers (font: Arial 12) and then
convert your document to a PDF file for submission. However, if you are not able to type your answers, you may
write them by hand and scan the pages to a PDF file. However, if you do this, please write legibly. The process
is set out under the Announcement tab on the TRL3702 2022/May Exam page.
(2) Start with a cover page stating the module code (TRL3702) and your student number.
(3) This should be followed by your answers to the questions. Note that Section A, Question 1 is compulsory.
Section B consists of three essay-type questions, of which you must answer any two.
(4) There is no need for a table of contents.
(5) Make sure that all questions and subquestions are clearly numbered.
(6) Please note that when formulating your answers, you are not allowed simply to copy information from another
source. You must answer the questions in your own words. Please acknowledge the material that you consult
correctly and responsibly by including in-text references (citations) and drawing up a comprehensive reference
list. Refer to Student Policies and Rules for more information on plagiarism. Plagiarism will not be tolerated,
and may result in disciplinary action if detected.
(7) Please ensure that you submit a declaration of honesty on myUnisa My Exams before proceeding.
(8) Please ensure that your PDF document is not encrypted to a secured mode and that it is not password protected,
as encrypted and password protected files cannot be marked. Virus-infected files will also not be marked.
(9) Submit your answers in the form of a single document in PDF by using the My Exams tool on myUnisa.

The Invigilator App Instructions and QR Code
Ensure you are connected to the internet in order to log into the Invigilator App and scan this QR code.
If you encounter difficulty scanning of the QR code you can alternatively enter the Exam access code
below the QR code to start the assessment.
Unless otherwise specified by your institution, note that you can only scan this QR code once; and if
your assessment has multiple online sections, tests or attempts, you should NOT finish the invigilation
process on the app until your entire assessment is completed.
Only scan the QR code when the assessment formally commences.
The QR code is only scannable for a limited time and it should therefore be scanned as soon as possible
to start the invigilation.
Once the QR code is scanned, ensure your media volume is turned up and place your smartphone next to
you. The Invigilator App will notify you with a notification beep when you are required to action a
request, which you should then perform.
We recommend that you keep your smartphone on charge for the duration of the assessment.
If you only have one device you may access your assessment in the application by pressing the ‘access
Exam’ button in the top right corner of your app.
Keep the Invigilator App open on your cell phone during the assessment. You are not allowed to leave
or minimise the app.
Ensure you are connected to the internet in order to commence the assessment as well as at the end of
the examination. No internet connection is required during the assessment.
You have to adhere to the assessment time limit communicated to you by your institution as the time
displayed in the Invigilator App could differ from the time allocated to complete your assessment.
You can click the "Finish Assessment" button in the app if you finish early.
