The classroom was fairly clean. There was enough seating for all the learners, they

etc.)
The atmosphere was quiet and inviting there where a few posters on the wall
regarding maths that the learners can look at to help.

The subject.
Mathematics.

The teaching approach (e.g. direct instruction, interactive learning, etc.) and how learners
respond to this.
This teachers approach was interactive he asked a lot of questions and gave the
learners the opportunity to give answers and ask questions if they did not
understand something, the learners respond to this was very good they like to

should sit down at their own desks. The learners respond well to this, sometimes
they do take a long time to enter the class because they talk to each other outside
instead of coming inside the class.

learners do if there is time left.
The teacher takes 20 min to teach and interact with the learners then he hands out
the work to the learners and the rest of the 20 min that are left in the period is used
so that the learners can do there work that will then become homework if they don't
finish in time.
