Si habéis ido siguiendo el proceso tendréis ahora una serie de datos variados, los cuales tendréis que analizar para darles sentido. Se supone que esos datos son los que darán respuesta a las preguntas de investigación y servirán para confirmar o rechazar las hipótesis planteadas. Si todo el proceso ha sido coherente, así debiera ser. En el caso de que sea una investigación cuantitativa el investigador habrá supuesto ya previamente, en el momento de construir o seleccionar los instrumentos, que tipo de análisis estadístico iba a realizar en función del tipo de estudio y diseño escogido (descriptivo, correlacional, factorial…)
