Brief Introduction Tesco
Tesco was started in 1919 by Jack Cohen he started to trade products in a wall street market. Tesco was
foremost looked at in 1924. Jack Cohen found the title Tesco by combining the first three letters of traders
(TES) and the first two letters of his last name (CO), and he founded the term TESCO. Tesco was introduced in
London Stock Exchange in 1947 as Tesco Store Fortunes Limited and the primary self-service stock was
unlocked at St Alban’s in 1956. Later in the same year, Tesco made its first supermarket in Malden. Between
the 1950s to 1960s, Tesco grew very rapidly and they possessed more than 800 stores later firm acquired 70
Williamson’s goods in 1957 and much in upcoming years. Tesco was food and drink specialized company but
