In my assignment I'll be describing how Pizza Hut uses market research to
contribute to the making of its marketing plans. I'll be also explaining the limitations
of the market research and I'll explain the validity and reliability. Then I'll be
justifying three recommendations for improving the validity of the marketing
research. Lastly I'll be using marketing research for marketing planning, and I'll be
explaining objectives.
Marketing research is the notion of collecting valuable information from the public of
where the business will open, and the information will be about their opinions of the
product and service that the business will provide. The information gathered from
the research helps the entrepreneurs whether to open the business in the market. It
also helps the entrepreneurs which type of business they should open with the
chosen products and services which were researched by asking the people in the
public. Companies carry out marketing research because they want to know the
background information before starting the business. In this case they could review
the geographic area if it's suitable for the business to open. The business
entrepreneurs could ask people questions about their services and products and this
will give them an open up view and it will help them on what type of business they
should set up.
Marketing research is an important factor getting to know your customers,
competitors and the market environment. Marketing research is important because
it enables the entrepreneur to research about your customer and the market.
Market research helps the company by minimizing the risk of entering a new
market. Another point is that market research helps you know what the customers
want for themselves and the services, where they want the business to be located
at a specific place they desire to prefer, and lastly the right price for the customers
to afford. The purpose of marketing research is to be able to get a understandable
information about the market and this could help the entrepreneurs what to adjust
to the business to make it work with the new market, and this will help the
entrepreneurs of the understanding of the customers’ needs and costs.
Marketing research is important for gathering information about the customers in
that specific location. Marketing research will carry out a method to ask the people
in the public about what type of products they would like to have, and then it's the
business opportunity to build upon it. There would be questions regarding the
products, price, service and quality of the business and how they would provide it,
and the customers will provide the answer for it. The business needs to understand
the customers need for their welfare, therefore the market research will give them
an open answer and help the business with what choices to make. Marketing
research can also be done to analyze the existing customers and ask them
questions about the products and services that the business provide, and what can
the business do to make changes to the business and make it better for customers.
