Unit 2 p10- p14
See next page for the leaflet of this exercise
Introduction
I’m writing this leaflet to inform you as an employee, about the human factor programme. I as your
supervisor of Transavia in the management division am responsible for myself of course, but also for
you as employees and also to the organisation. Human factor programme is made and used to
understand employees characteristics, capabilities and what their limits are when at work. In shorter
words it’s to understand human behaviour and performance.
The benefits from human factor program is to make sure you (employee) are more aware in the
identification of human risks, identifying the underlying causes (why did it happen? How did it
happen?), adopting a non- punitive approach to error management ( you’ll be not punished when
thinking critical), developing an organisational ‘ learning culture’ (making sure you as employees are
not afraid to think for themselves and don’t hold back, because they’re afraid to get fired) and last but
not least to improve human performance.
