Kennisclip 2: “Inleiding consumentenpsychologie”

Theorie economen; mensen zijn rationeel (bepaald budget, hiermee zo veel mogelijk
behoeften bevredigen).
 klopt niet, mensen kopen dingen die niet nodig zijn. Mensen zijn cognitief lui.

Consumentenpsychologie: studie van economisch gedrag, nadruk op de psyche en daarop
inspelen.

Heuristieken = snelwegen in je brein die ervoor zorgen dat je door middel van beslisregels
keuzes kan maken in complexe beslissingen.

Irrationaliteit bij mensen;
 Korte termijn heeft de voorkeur. Brein is gevoelig voor korte termijn keuzes (bijvoorbeeld
roken, schoenen kopen).
 We bevestigen graag ons gelijk (superkwaliteit, pasvorm)
o Positieve ervaringen onthoud je, negatieve vergeet je
o Je zoekt naar andere merken die slechter zijn
o Zoeken naar referenties die dit bevestigen

Marketeers en consumentenpsychologie:
Framing = op een bepaalde manier iets communiceren of iets presenteren.
o 90% vet vrij of 10% vet
o 3 stappen in bekers en prijs, lijkt minder duur (Starbucks)
 Anchoring = spelen met getallen, volgorde waarop je presenteert
o eerst duurste televisie laten zien

Nudging = duwtje in de goede richting geven.
o trap>roltrap
o weggooien van afval met ‘spellen’ (holle bolle Gijs)


Kennisclip 3: “Het beslissingsproces”

Economische psychologie = de studie van het economische gedrag.

Consumentengedrag = al het gedrag dat een consument vertoont bij het zoeken naar, het
kopen, het gebruiken, het evalueren en het zich ontdoen van producten/diensten/ideeën.
