1. What is the target form of the first conditional The first conditional has the present simple after ‘if’ in the first clause, then if followed by
simple future in the second clause (or main clause).

4. What is the function? (M) First conditional is used to talk about action/ events that will happen in future or have the
possibility to happen in the future. We use and if in the starting of first clause (also call
this clause conditional clause) and second clause is the main clause or the result clause.
