Van denken in Organisatie eenheden (= afdelingen) naar denken in organisatie-processen

Niet elk proces kan worden gestandaardiseerd

 Voordelen standaardisatie = voorkomen misverstanden en inefficiëntie
 Nadelen standaardisatie = wegnemen creativiteit en vrijheid van werknemers

,  Project  eenmalig, complex, grootschalig, arbeidsintensief, maatwerk, veel vaardigheden.
Start/ finish en doelstellingen vastgesteld.
 Stukswerk  kleine hoeveelheden, eenmalig, weinig herhalingen
 Batch-georiënteerd  standaardproducten, herhaalde vraag, specifieke vaardigheden,
omstellingen in elk productiestadium
 Massa productie  standaard, repeterende producten, lage/ beperkte vaardigheden
 Continue proces  olie pompen, vloeiend  extreem hoge volumes, vaak 1 product. Erg
kapitaalintensief en geautomatiseerd (geen omstellingen). Duur om te starten en stoppen




o Symbool activiteit = ondersteunende processen (bvb smeerolie enzovoort)
o Bij start en eind symbool niet start zetten maar bvb order komt binnen
