Industrial and Organisational Psychology is an applied field psychology.

• IOP is a branch of Psychology that uses psychological knowledge in the work con-
text.

IOP as an applied field = the application of IOP in the workplace.

*IOP can be applied in a range of settings for examples I.e man-
ufacturing , Corporate, health and academia.

The main point is to understand that IOP studies people in the workplace.
