1. Abiotische Faktoren (nicht lebendige)

2. Biotische Faktoren (lebendige)

• Nahrung
• Parasiten
• Krankheiten

Die natürliche Selektion beschreibt die Veränderung
durch die Umwelt infolge von abiotischer (bsp. Licht,
Temperatur) und biotischer (bsp. Konkurrenz, Symbiose)
Selektionsfaktoren. Dabei wird beschrieben, wie besser
angepasste Individuen auch eine höhere
Überlebenschance haben ("survival of the fittest") . Dies
führt dazu, dass die Wahrscheinlichkeit zur Weitergabe
der Gene erhöht wird.
