Henry Williams, Part 1 Guided Reflection Questions Opening Questions How did the simulated experience of Henry Williams’s case make you feel? This scenario was quite frustrating in the sense that it did not allow for you to ask more questions about Henry and his wife’s situation that is causing him anxiety. It was interesting to use the SPICES tool and realize the type of questions that I should be asking for this assessment. What nursing actions did you feel were appropriate within this scenario? I think education and support towards Henrys family was vital in this case because his wife seemed very confused on what was happening, and Henry seemed upset that he kept having to answer his wife. Also, since this patient is older, the SPICES assessment is important to use to understand other factors that relate to the patient’s condition and means to getting better.
