unrequited love for Bheki - who has a deaf child.

⬧ Patricia tells Looksmart about Richard and the sale of the farm. Patricia recognises
that she feels lost.
⬧ Beauty enlists Bheki's help to find Richard who must be kept away from Looksmart, so
she instructs him to bring Richard to her room when he finds him
⬧ Looksmart goads Patricia. He seems to resent that she once owned more than he did.
He tells her she needs to fear the truth.
⬧ Patricia recalls the horrific death of a school friend, Fiona Johnson, in a farm attack.
⬧ Looksmart wants tea. Patricia summons Beauty politely and Looksmart insists that she

Grace in the dairy; Grace broke free; Richard untied Chloe and set her after fleeing
Grace and then he drove away
⬧ Richard is still lost. It is raining and dark. He thinks he is dead and decides to build his
own house out of bricks and mud.
