Two years ago, I went on a trip to the UK with a group of friends. We took a two-week
immersive English course.
To begin with, we travelled from Malaga to London, where they divided us into groups and took
us to our host house. I was very nervous as well as happy, just me and two other girls were alone
abroad living with strangers and trying to understand each other.
Secondly, as we arrived, our host father greeted us from the garden, which was large and full of
fresh grass. Dinner time came at 7.00pm, then we tidied up the luggage and we went to bed
early.
Finally, the next day, during the journey to the academy, I could see the vegetation filling the
beautiful landscape with green tones. Besides, I reflected on how lucky I was because of the
opportunity that had been given to me.
As the days went by, I met many new people, I got used to their food, their language and their
way of life. I spent a really good time there too. Nowadays it's one of the best experiences I've
ever had.
