• UGH: gestandaardiseerde zithouding (rechtop, lumbale WK in extensie,
voeten plat op de grond, heupen en knieën in 90º flexie), handen rusten op
elkaar in nek, ellebogen liggen tegen elkaar aan
• Uitvoering:
• FT staat achter patiënt, rechter handwortel, duim- of pinkmuis wordt op
caudale processus spinosus van te bewegen deel van TWK geplaatst
• Door druk naar ventraal en caudaal te geven op processus spinosus
wordt onderliggende niveau gefixeerd en op craniaal aangrenzende
wervelsegment een extensie-/flexiemogelijkheid vrijgehouden
• Andere hand en onderarm van FT omvat distale bovenarmen en
ellebogen patiënt
• Vanuit maximale of relatieve flexie wordt regionale of segmentale
extensie uitgevoerd
