- Lasswell
o Eerste communicatiemodel
 Te eenvoudig
 Onderging doorheen de jaren veel aanpassingen maar vooral toevoegingen
 Zender geeft een boodschap aan de ontvanger
- De zender zal zijn boodschap gaan coderen en overbrengen aan de ontvanger via een
bepaald kanaal, in een bepaalde context. De ontvanger decodeert de boodschap. De
ontvanger wordt zender en codeert opnieuw een boodschap. (feedback)




- Communicatie is hierbij dus een cirkelvormig proces, er is sprake van tweezijdige
communicatie
- Als de ontvanger niet terugkoppelt, dan spreken we van éénzijdige communicatie
- Coderen = omzetten van gedachten naar woorden, bewust of onbewust
o Informatie van binnenaf naar de buitenkant gebracht wordt tot waarneembaar
gedrag
- Decoderen en interpreteren
o Dezelfde waarneming kan door verschillende mensen anders geïnterpreteerd
worden
o Is dus subjectief
- Kanaal
o Medium of middel om onze boodschap door te geven
o Vocaal auditieve kanaal
o Visuele kanaal
o Tactiele kanaal (aanrakingen)
o Rijkheid medium en complexiteit van de boodschap moeten in evenwicht zijn
