Specifically, when I worked in logistics, I ended up being my manager s right hand. Although these were informal tasks I used to perform, I gained great knowledge and experience by taking them on. While I was building my work experience, I used to be part of the team that would get the merchandise ready for shipment to be delivered to the cruise ships. We had to consolidate pallets of merchandise in order to fit as many as possible into the trailers. A 53-foot trailer normally fit 28 pallets, if they were all placed sideways. You also had to make sure you placed them in order of delivery as there was merchandise for different cruises. M
