The report is based on the Galleon Group case study where the founder Raj Rajaratnam was charged with collecting secret information about the funds and stocks of different companies. Thus he illegally earned huge amounts of money. The study examined whether or not the strategy of collecting information was widespread to Wall Street and the roles of stakeholders, regulators and executives in increasing these activities. In addition, the impact of sharing confidential information has been discussed in detail and how it affects the stock trading method. It was examined that Raja Rajratnam's confidential inquiries and prosecution could not limit the other fund managers to share sensitive non-public information
