Deliverables and Data:
You should attempt all four questions. Where appropriate you are expected to research
beyond lecture material and reference your sources using the Harvard referencing system.
In submitting your answers you should upload a ZIP file containing the PDF with your
written answers and your Excel spreadsheets (.xlsx and .xlsm files). Make sure you give
the files appropriate names so that it is clear where the answer to each question is to be
found.
The data for questions 1, 2, and 3 is available on the Moodle page for this course. You will
need to click on the data spreadsheet and input your Banner number to generate your data.
(Do not worry if it takes a little time to generate the data.) You will then need to save the
resulting Excel file. The data is specific to your Banner number so do make sure you enter
your number correctly so that you use the correct data which is unique to you. Failure to
use the correct data may result in you losing marks.
Marking:
For questions which involve writing code you must follow good professional practice by
commenting your code fully to explain its workings, and you should lay out the code
appropriately in line with good professional practice to make the structure clear. Failure to
do this will result in marks being deducted.
