Probleem 6Moraliteit
= normen & waarden + kiezen wat goed of slecht is
Internalisering via: begrijpen ernaar gedragen ernaar voelen (bijv. trots of schaamte)
3 componenten:
- Moral affect = motiveren van morele gedachten/het handelen ernaar
- Moral reasoning = redeneren wat wel/niet doen en wat goed/slecht is
- Moral behaviour = gedragen naar wat goed/fout is
Morele ontwikkeling volgens Piaget
2 fasen:
1. Heteronome moraliteit ~ 4-7 jaar ~ regels zijn absoluut en moet je volgen, kijken
naar consequenties van acties (bijv. kind gaat afwassen en breekt 2 kopjes of kind
speelt ermee en breekt er 1. Een kind in deze fase kijkt alleen naar de hoeveelheid
gebroken kopjes en niet naar de intentie van het kind dat ze breekt)
Kind denkt dat altijd straf komt na een misdaad = immanent justice
Kind ziet straffen om het straffen => omdat hij slaat, sla ik terug als straf =
expiatory punishment
2. Autonome moraliteit ~ 10+ jaar ~ regels worden door autoriteiten gemaakt, kijken
naar intenties (bijv. waarom zijn de kopjes gebroken? Omdat het kind ermee speelde
of omdat ze uit de handen glipten bij het afwassende kind?)
Kind ziet straf als iets leerzaams = reciprocal punishment
Voor de overgang is nodig:
- Cognitieve ontwikkeling
- Verminderend egocentrisme
- Interactie met o.a. leeftijdsgenoten
Kritiek op Piaget:
- 2 fasen is heel weinig
- Fasen gaan een beetje door elkaar, een kind zit vaak niet in 1 van de 2
- Hij onderschatte kinderen
- Alleen nurture
