A Point (The part of the paragraph you’re trying to explain), A Quote
(The evidence for your paragraph), An Emphasis (The word or phrase
you will analyse to prove your point) and the Explanation (The
aspect where you will further describe your initial point and how this
affects the reader.)


Point:
During your exam or assessment, you will want to prove that you
understand what the text is saying, but also demonstrate to your
examiner how the text impacts the reader. Additionally, you must
display your knowledge of advanced English literature. It would be a
great help to you to include suggestive language during your whole
essay, but specifically during your point. This is because English
Literature is subjective, meaning that nothing is incorrect.
