- Naar de variabelen in var. view kijken à wat betekenen ze?
- Meetschalen nakijken à nominaal (nominal), ordinaal (ordinal) of interval/ratio (scale)
- Hoe weet je welke meetschaal? Naar values kijken
- Filters altijd verwijderen!
- Een komma moet je ingeven als “.” In SPSS
- Geen spaties gebruiken als je iets ingeeft


Hoe en welke stappen uitvoeren?

1. Data omvormen
Bv 1 à 5, 2 à 4
- Transform
- Recode into different variables
- nieuwe naam geven
- Op change klikken
- Op old and new values klikken
- Alle waarden omwisselen (old: 1 ; new: 5)
- Continue
- Paste

Syntax:

- Selecteer alle tekst
- Klik op run (groen pijltje)

Ga terug naar je data view/ var view en je ziet een nieuwe kolom/rij

2. Specifiek aantal te weten komen
- Analyze
- Descriptive stat
- Frequencies
- De variabele selecteren waarover je een specifiek deel te weten wilt komen
- Paste

Syntax:

- Tekst selecteren + run

Ga naar output om de tabel te zien (van de frequencies; daar staat je antwoord in)
