To introduce the first conditional for the function of talking about events
that are likely to happen.

1. If main verb starts with the same sound as the final sound in
Anticipated auxiliary verb (e.g., I'll leave soon) students will not be able to hear

Problems : auxiliary verb.
Solution: I will not use an example like this for my model sentence in the

2. A very common error is to put ‘will’ in the if-clause:
Wrong: If you will study more, your English will get better.
Right: If you study more, your English will get better.
Solution: I will remind students about this error when I explain them the form
of first conditional.
3. Some students may speak Vietnamese to express difficult points.
Solution: I will divert students back to English.
