growing use of e-business
-The government supports the development of e-businesses by having a team of people that
are based on helping businesses to become more profitable and the way they do this is by
promoting better use of ICT. There is an e-business team created by the government who wants
help businesses to lower business costs, become more advanced, and trade a lot more
successfully, how to progress and to grow online.
 E-Commerce Regulations of 2002
-The electronic commerce regulations 2002 establishes legal rules that online retailers and
service providers must comply with when they are dealing with 27 members countries of the
European union (EU). An example of this I could give would be amazon would really require this
regulation as their online platforms sells products to all around the world.
 The Consumer Protection
-The consumer protection act is in place to hold manufacturers accountable for producing
unsafe goods. As it allows consumers to claim compensation if the defective product has
caused personal injury, damage to property or death. Claims that are made under the act are
generally brought against the products producer.
 Data Protection Act
-The data protection act is a law that was introduced to protect personal data that is store onto
computer's or in an organized paper filling system.
 Support for businesses
-Support for businesses refers to how the government supports the businesses by offering
grants which Is a large sum of money for the business begin there start up process and cover
the costs of the rent, equipment and the staff generally some grants have to be repaid and
some do not need to be repaid.
 Education and Training
-Education & training are important tools for informing workers and managers about the
workplace hazards and controls so they can work more safely and be more productive. It is
