Aims of the lesson By the end of this lesson, students will be better able to recognise and produce the
four seasons of the year (spring, summer, autumn and winter) individually and as a
group.
Secondary aims of the lesson Students will be able to produce and recognise the four seasons and to connect
them with the specific adjectives (warm, hot, cool and cold).
Anticipated difficulties 1. Students can become noisy and can easily lose interest in the lesson.
2. The school has limited resources.

1. The teacher will create an enjoyable atmosphere to keep the young students
engaged in the learning process by starting with a warmer activity which will
bring all the students together. The teacher will present colourful flashcards
and mimic the new vocabulary to gain the students attention.
2. The teacher will bring her own flashcards.
Materials to be used 1. Flashcards and the board will be used which will help the teacher to convey
the meaning of the new words.
2. The teacher will use the board to write the new vocabulary.
