Here we study now about the magnet and his properties.
Magnetic Material
A magnetic material is a substance that can
be attract by the magnetic material.
Example: Iron, Nickel.
The magnetic is also contain the north pole and the south pole.
Properties of Magnets
There are following properties of magnets
Magnetic Pole
Every magnetic is having two pole one is south and other is north pole.
Attraction or Repulsion of Magnetic
The two pole of magnets are unlike is attract to each other like, north
pole is attracting the south pole.
While the two same point of the magnets is repelled each other, like
north pole repel the north pole.
Identification of Magnetic
The repulsion between the like poles is a real test to identify a magnet.
Is Isolated Magnetic Pole Possible
No, isolated magnetic pole cannot normally exist. It is not be possible
because when we break the magnet into the two pieces we get the new
N-pole and S-pole.
, Induced Magnetism
Induced magnetism is a phenomenon in which magnetic material
becomes magnetize when placed near the magnetic or inside the
magnetic field.
Example:
When we place the magnet near the Iron nail it is become temporary
magnet and attract to each other.
Temporary and Permanent Magnets
Temporary magnets act as magnets only when in a magnetic field or
electric current, loss the magnetism when is removed.
Permanent magnet is always keeping the magnetic field all the time
without any outside power.
Magnetic Field
A magnetic field is the region around the magnet where another
magnetic object experiences a force on it.
A magnetic field is the field line in
which the magnetic force act on
another magnetic or magnetic
material.
Magnetic Line Force
The magnetic line force is the
imaginary line which is used to
represent the field line force of the magnet.
Strength of Magnetic Field
The magnetic field strength is used to measure the force exerted by the
magnetic field on magnetic pole or moving charge.
