Goal(s) or Objective(s):
• Academic Goals: To improve reading comprehension, writing skills, vocabulary
acquisition, and critical thinking abilities in students.
• Nonacademic Goals: To foster a love of reading, enhance collaborative skills through
discussion-based group and project based activities, and to build confidence in expressing
thoughts and ideas.
A2 Evaluation Plan Using the CIPP Model
Context
a. Need or Problem to Address: In Benchmark, the aim is to improve skills relating to reading
comprehension and writing skills. This is of particular importance in my school since the
introduction of ‘Write Score’ in 2022 showed a decline in the standardized test scores for writing
over the past two years.
