Anthony vanloanhocke- 1665 perfected the early microscopes, and he was
seeing tiny cells for the first time

He wasn’t sure what he was looking at, so he called them animolces. He
was actually seeing plant cells




LM- light microscope, also known as a compound microscope

Stanning and helping one hard to see

EM- electron microscope, there are 2 kinds scanning and transmission

LIGHT MICROSCOPE

Eyepiece- looking down into. Has a magnification of 10x, meaning you are
seeing things 10 times its actual size

Arm- the part used to carry, hand under the bottom
