medical service. You show patients that you are listening
by setting aside all other work while speaking with them.

putting yourself mentally in another's place.
Anempathetic medical assistant understands and offers
comfort when a patient isanxious or in pain. Treat every
patient courteously and professionally whether youlike
them or not.

they do notwant to incur large expenses for health care;
they do not want to be frustrated byconfusing paperwork
or worried by unfamiliar medical terminology. At times
they may sound rude but actually they are just worried.
