 Evolutie in bedrijven, maatschappij en manier van werken -> invloed op
werkorganisatie en werkverhoudingen.
 Definitie HRM: Human Resource Management behelst het geheel van
activiteiten gericht op het maximaal benutten van de menselijke mogelijkheden in
het belang van het individu, de organisatie en de maatschappij.
 Doel: HRM optimaliseert de verhouding individu – arbeid – organisatie (als
raderwerk).

Wie is verantwoordelijk voor HRM in een organisatie?
-> de bedrijfsleider, de HR manager (als die er is, want vaak is er geen) => best
combinatie en niet gewoon 1 persoon.

Hoe optimaal was het vroeger?
Verhouding individu – arbeid – organisatie:
o slechte werkomstandigheden
o weinig flexibiliteit
o laag loon
o hoge autoriteit
o …

Hoe optimaal is het vandaag?
o Sociaal vangnet
o Investeren in menselijk kapitaal
o Vakbonden
o Groot probleem tegenwoordig -> langdurig zieken

Evolutie doorheen de jaren
Niet kennen: Taylorisme, human relations, revisionisme -> (informatief)
Wel kennen : verschil tussen traditioneel personeelsbeleid en strategisch
humanresourcemanagement.

Traditioneel personeelsbeleid
 Gericht op administratieve personeelstaken (bv. uitbetalen van lonen, goedkeuren
van vakantiedagen, …)
 Kortetermijndenken
 Minimalisatie van arbeidskosten

1970- heden: van traditioneel personeelsbeleid naar HRM
 Diepgaande en ingrijpende veranderingen in de omgeving hebben ervoor gezorgd
dat HR een strategische partner geworden is. Denk aan:
