Required practical- Titration
What I did- For the titration experiment, here I had to use a solution of known concentration to
help determine the concentration of an unknown solution. The titrant is added from a burette to a
known quantity of the analyte, until the reaction is complete.

Evaluation- I rated myself as 2 for 1b as I had to ask my peers for help, to complete the experiment
efficiently. Instead of carrying on with the experiment, to get wrong results. For 1d I rated myself as
1, as I did not carry out the steps independently, but also with the help of my peers.

Evaluation- I rated myself as 2 for 2f because, I wasn’t able to identify variables within the method,
therefore whilst I was doing the experiment it was discussed between my peers. At the end of the
experiment I did identify in my evaluation, how methods could be improved. I also used appropriate
equipment to measure the volumes of the substances, for example, I used a conical flask and
pipette.
