V. Cell Adhesion and Communication
• Extracellular Matrix (ECM): Provides structural support, regulates behavior.
• Cell Adhesion Molecules (CAMs): Facilitate cell attachment to each other and ECM.
• Junctions: Tight, gap, desmosomes maintain tissue integrity.
