Lab Safety
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn to minimize exposure to hazards that cause serious
workplace injuries and illnesses. These may result from contact with chemical, radiological, electrical,
mechanical, or other workplace hazards.

Treat every specimen as if it's infected.
Keep goggles, lab coat and gloves on.
Locate the eyewash station and know how to use it.
Locate first-aid kit and fire extinguisher.
Locate chemical and glass disposal area.

Scientific Method helps us to answer questions about things that we see in everyday life.
Observation - anything that you see in the natural world.
Question - why? To what extent? - how to answer the observation
Hypothesis - Structured, logical explanation or prediction to answer your question. It has to be specific,
testable and objective.
