Biological classification- Kingdom Plantae
1. Kingdom Plantae includes multicellular, autotrophic organisms that produce food via photosynthesis and have cell walls composed of cellulose. 2. Plants are classified into four main groups - non-vascular plants, seedless vascular plants, gymnosperms, and angiosperms - based on presence of vascular tissue and seeds. 3. The four main divisions of plants are thallophyta, pteridophyta, spermatophyta, and angiosperms. Thallophytes lack true roots and vascular tissue. Pteridophytes include ferns and horsetails. Spermatophytes include gymnosperms and angiosperms, which are seed plants.
