GeneralCare Hospital better understand the differences between nursing and
administrative roles.
Job analysis is a systematic process used to gather, document, and analyse information

(Coetzee et al., 2020, p. 26). It aims to create a detailed understanding of what a job
entails, the outcomes expected, and the characteristics required of the jobholder
(HRM2603 Study Guide, 2022, p. 20). The information gathered is typically summarised
in a job description and a job specification.
Conducting a thorough job analysis would enable GeneralCare Hospital to formally
document the critical differences between nursing and administrative roles.
