The hidden curriculum refers to the unofficial, unwritten and unintended values,
lessons and perspectives that students learn in school.
Official curriculum
Also known as the formal curriculum, this is the planned course using resources such
as textbooks for planned lessons.
Learner-centred curriculum
The focus of instruction shifts from Teacher centred to the student. Children choose
what and how they will learn as well as how they will be assessed.
