Geschiedenis
 Na de tweede wereldoorlog: revalidatie van de gewonde militairen. Doel:
re-integratie in de maatschappij. MAAR: “de mogelijkheid om arbeid te
verrichten” was een voorwaarde.
 Ergotherapie = functionele en preprofessionele training
 16 april 1965: erkenning van het diploma “gegradueerde in de
arbeidstherapie”. ( 1992: “gegradueerde in de ergotherapie”)
 Sinds 2010: federale registratie voor de individuele erkenning als
ergotherapeut.
