Selected Destination: Table Mountain




The selected destination is Table Mountain, located in Cape Town in the Western
Cape. It is one of the most famous natural landmarks in South Africa and forms part
of the Table Mountain National Park. The mountain is easily recognised by its flat top
and stands overlooking the city, the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding areas.

Visitors can reach the top of Table Mountain by using the rotating cable car or by
hiking along different trails such as Platteklip Gorge. At the top, there are walking
paths, viewpoints and facilities for tourists. The area is known for its unique plant life,
