SandyBill Energy (SBEN) is an American electric and natural gas utility company

SBEN's strategic direction.
With the changes in government regulations due to emissions standards because of
climate change, the organization must develop consistent organizational processes and
procedures to ensure the operation runs efficiently, allowing the organization to meet its
emissions standards. The lack of consistency across operations has increased turnover and
retirements across each division. As a result, SBEN must develop a retention program to
maintain and enlist experienced staff for growth initiatives in the coming years. The current
program consists of knowledge tests, performance evaluations, and hands-on skills
demonstrations tailored to union or nonunion operations managers. Although managers typically
receive no mentorship throughout their careers before being promoted to management, senior
managers can guide them anytime. Senior managers understand that training is nearly non-
existent and grant subordinate managers access to them at any point to try and provide the best
leadership possible. A new leadership and management program will give all union and
