Due to the need for social distancing and infection control precautions related to COVID 19 students and staff (unless they are alone in their office) are required to wear a mask at all times when in the MedTech building. Handwashing/hand sanitizing is required upon arrival. Students participating in labs are expected to follow additional precautions as directed by faculty during these experiences. Students must leave the building and not linger to socialize as soon as their lab activity is completed. Failure to follow these requirements is a violation of the student conduct guidelines and will be referred to the Dean of Students. Course Description: Presents essential concepts of pharmacology. Designed to promote the use of critical thinking in the application of drug therapy. Emphasis is placed on the integration of pharmacological principles, legal responsibilities of the nurse, and the nursing process. Prerequisites: Perquisites/co-requisite: BIO 152 and NUR 110. Program Learning Outcomes GCC: Upon completion of this course at GCC, the student will: 1.
