Im Passiv (Leideform) steht nicht mehr die handelnde Person im Mittelpunkt, sondern die Handlung selbst bzw. das,
was mit jemandem/etwas gemacht wird.

➜ Subject (Aktiv): steht vor dem Verb – Wer oder was tut etwas? (Tom)
➜ Object (Aktiv): steht nach dem Verb und wird im Passiv zum Subjekt – Wen oder was betrifft die Handlung? (the
room)
"by + Person" wird nur genannt, wenn es wichtig ist, wer die Handlung ausgeführt hat. Das Passiv wird oft verwendet, wenn die
handelnde Person unbekannt, unwichtig oder offensichtlich ist.
