This essay is a response to a 2017 Paper 1A Section B question on Twelfth Night which achieved full marks in 2020. It is an authentic response from a Year 13 student who obtained an A*. “In ‘Twelfth Night’, humour primarily comes from situations involving cruelty or suffering”. I made this revision table that summarises the key events of Emma and links them to the comedic structure of the novel as well the setting of the novel. Overall it helped me to do really well when writing about the novel as a whole. (Overall A-level grade A*)
