This document contains a very comprehensive summary for the exam of Infectious Diseases/pathogeen-gastheer interacties. It includes the lectures and all the self-study chapters from the book "Microbiology, a clinical approach". The summary is written in English, since the exam will contain open questions which need to be answered in English. This course is part of the 2nd and 3th year of Gezondheid & Leven and Biomedical Sciences.

Uitgebreide samenvatting (103 blz.) van alle hoorcolleges ter voorbereiding van het theorie tentamen Microbiologie. Omvat alle tentamenstof voor de drie deelonderwerpen: bacteriologie, virologie, en parasitologie. Begrippen en concepten zijn uitgebreid toegelicht en bijbehorende figuren zijn hierbij ook verwerkt ( wisselend Nederlands / Engels, voornamelijk Engels). Er is gebruikgemaakt van dikgedrukte woorden en gekleurde tekst om belangrijke concepten te aan te geven!

De samenvatting bevat de hoofdstukken 4 t/m 16, 19, 20, 21: M.tuberculosis,Influenzavirussen, H22: Shigella, Salmonella, V.cholerae, H24:C.tetani, C.botulism, H25:Epstein-Barvirus, H26:Chickenpox (waterpokken), Herpes Simplex virus type1. Vanaf hoofdstuk 21 worden alleen de bovengenoemde onderdelen behandeld.
