This essay was done on a book that goes over the experiences Puerto Ricans had during a time in the U.S. when racism was at its highest. I dive deep into analyzing these stories and how Latinx peoples lived during these times. Along with how the Latinx community made an impact to the u.s. with the influx of immigration during the 40s and 50s.
