Believed memory is not just one store, but a number of different stores;
– Given 2 visual tasks -> poor performance
– Given 1 visual and 1 verbal -> good performance
Focused on the STM store only, and believed that it was not a singular
store (like in the MSM).
LTM as a more passive store tat holds previously learned material for use
by the STM when needed.
