Presentation and Notes:
Determined to answer the question
“What is a Psychopath?”.
Rader is the pefect exemplar of
psychppathic behaviour – integrated into
society with his manipulative traits.
Psychopaths are over-represented in the
prison population so I wanted to
determine if there was a treatment
available - guessing game for statistics.
Discounted offers from several
universities (like Bath, which I want to
apply to)
Doing the EPQ allows me to apply existing
knowledge of my subjects to different subjects
which conveys passion and contributes to wider
reading.
Skills like analytical, time management, critical
thinking etc. which I can apply to strengthen my
learning in my subjects.
Over the summer: Future Learn MOOC
accelerated my understanding of the project;
taught me about things I didn’t learn in school, like
how to reference to avoid plagiarism. Started
course late but this didn’t impede on my project
whatsoever. MOOC encouraged me to brainstorm
ideas for my project and sources (e.g. before I
thought I could only use journals, but this
course taught me to use the library) and
influenced me to use it for expanding my
knowledge in other subjects too.

Evolution of my Working Title: Don’t
know what I want my future career to be,
so based on subjects I like
(psychology/biology).
