Unit 4: Health and Safety in Scientific Organisations
Learning Aim:
Introduction:
In today's scientific organizations, health and safety are vital because
they make sure that workers, students, and employees are safe. This
study examines the ways in which Johnson & Johnson, a multinational
pharmaceutical and healthcare corporation, and NASA, a space
exploration and scientific research centre for space, show their health and
safety protocols. By comparing the two, we can see how their safety
procedures are different and are similar and see how well these safety
measures work
Additionally, this research will also see departments within each
corporation, with a focus on Johnson & Johnson's Pharmaceutical
Production and Research & Development (R&D) Departments, NASA's
Research Laboratories, and Engineering. This comparison will show us
how different and similar the two organizations are within each
department.
