,Aerobic Endurance
Aerobic endurance is the ability to move your body for a long period
time without tiring.
Potential Royal Marines will need aerobic endurance
when completing the thirty miler, which is a long mar
that Royal Marines do to earn their green beret. This
march will be completed in full kit and holding a rifle.
This march will have to be completed within eight ho
in order for a Royal Marine to earn the green beret.
, Muscular Endurance
Muscular endurance is the ability to move your muscles for a long
period of time without tiring.
Soldiers of the Queen’s Guard will rely on their
muscular endurance when working. These soldiers
will work very long shifts with short resting time.
They wear warm clothing, hats and always have a
rifle in their possession which will make it harder fo
them to move for a long amount of time, especially
on a hot day.
