• Campaign name is Know Your Limit.
• Chose this name because the campaign is about alcohol addiction
• The message I want people to understand is to know your limit on the amount you
drink.
Aims

• Campaign is targeting people with and without alcohol addictions.
• Aim of the campaign is to make people aware to the dangers that occur with
drinking too much alcohol.
• Example of these dangers may be life threatening liver damage.
• Changes I am are trying to make is to help people either recover from their
addictions.
• Drink in moderation rather than drinking too much or not drink too much alcohol in
the first place.
• Campaign will contain information and ways to help and donate.

Objectives

• I will produce and distribute materials that highlight the dangers and risks taken
when drinking too much alcohol.
• Can obviously lead to addiction.
• When people visit my website, they will be able to fill out their personal information
such as home address to receive a leaflet on alcohol addiction and how it affects
people.
• Achievable as people have the choice to receive the leaflet, it is not forced upon
them.
• Relevant to my campaign as it will reach my target audience which is people who are
interested in the campaign.
• Learn more about the information provided to help themselves or someone, they
know recover from their alcohol addiction.
• Will not take a specific amount of time as people will be able to receive leaflet
whenever they sign up to the website.

, Justifications

• Reason why I have chosen this campaign idea - many people drink alcohol however
not many people understand the risks and dangers of drinking too much which
causes addiction.
• In England there are an estimated 602,391 dependent drinkers. (alcoholchange.org)
• Only 18% are receiving treatment. (alcoholchange.org)
• Shows that not many people take alcohol addictions seriously and may not know
much about it justifying the reason for creating this campaign.
• Aim is to create awareness to those who are unsure about how addictions to alcohol
start and provide help for those who are already addicted.
• Feature from the campaign Drink-aware which I would like to include is a live chat
service where trained professionals are available to help with any concerns you may
have related to alcohol addictions.

Target audience

• Target audience for my campaign is people with existing alcohol addictions.
• Target audience is relevant to my campaign - aiming to inform people of the dangers
associated with drinking heavily and addictions with alcohol and give them the help
and support to change that habit.
• Potential victims may be people who are not financially stable or have some form of
mental health issue.
• Depression which has resulted in them becoming addicted to alcohol.

Methods and Materials

• I will be using posters, merchandise, a website, social media accounts and
wristbands to promote my campaign and create awareness.
• Reason for this choice in materials is because posters are effective and persuasive.
• Merchandise such as T-Shirt's can be worn in public promoting the campaign.
• Campaigns website, KnowYourLimit.com, will have information on alcohol addiction
while also having professional advisors who can help people.
• Social media accounts can spread information quickly as most people use social
media nowadays.
• Wristbands are cheap and easy to manufacture while also promoting the campaign.
